Getting Started

Is there a fee to be a reseller for CWR Wholesale Distribution?
No, there is no fee to be a reseller for CWR Wholesale Distribution.
What type of accounts are offered by CWR, and what are the requirements?
CWR offers three types of accounts: Credit Card, COD, and Net Terms.  All accounts require a Business License, Personal Guarantee Form, ST-3 or ST-3NR Form, and sales venue information.

Credit Card: This is the quickest and easiest account to establish. This account requires your company credit card on file to be charged at the time of purchase.
COD: Blind drop shipping is not an available option with this type of account.  A blank bank release form will be provided; we require bank details such as name of the bank, account number, date and signature to authorize further review of your information.
Net Terms: This type of account is an open account typically processed for Net -15 terms. At the time an application is submitted, it is requested that 2 to 3 trade references be provided along with a bank reference as mentioned above. Please supply all contact details for all trade and bank references so the process can be completed as quickly as possible.

ST-3 is required for all businesses located and registered in New Jersey.
ST-3NR is required for all non residential businesses located and registered outside of New Jersey.

How long does the application process take?
For credit card terms, the process can take anywhere from 24-48 hours to activate for purchase.  COD and Net accounts take more time to process as we rely on the response of your references.  Since COD and Net Term accounts may take longer, we can always offer credit card terms in the interim so orders can still be fulfilled without delay.
As an independent installer, is there any additional information required?
Certifications listed below, or their equivalent, are requested for manufacturers such as Garmin, Furuno, Raymarine, etc.

- ABYC (American Boat and Yacht Council)

Does CWR have a list of top selling products?
CWR does not provide a list of top selling products. Due to the vast selection of products we carry, there is no one size fits all list of top products. If you have general questions about our selection of products please contact sales@cwrdistribution.com.
Can I sell on eBay or Amazon?
CWR Wholesale Distribution has no limitation on eBay or Amazon store sales, but some manufactures we carry do have policies in place against internet auction sites. Please refer to the Manufacturer Policies on our website.

Products

Does CWR offer access to owner's manuals and installation guides?
Yes, we are adding more daily. These can be found under the product listing under the Quick Specs tab.
Does CWR feature product videos?  If so, where are they located?
Yes, you can find product videos for a majority of the products we offer.  In the product detail section of each product you will see tabs under the product image.  If a video tab is available, click and you will find the videos specific to that product.
Is there a place where product literature is available on the website?
Yes, you can find product literature for a majority of the products we offer.  In the product detail section of each product you will see tabs under the product image.  If a quick specs tab is available, click and you will find the owner's manual, installation guide, brochures or quick guides that are specific to that product.
Is it possible to download product images/product detail from the website?
Yes, you can download product images/product detail and an abundance of other information from our website through the Download Images and Export Data options under the Tools menu on our website.  Once in these sections you will see different options to help you select the specific data you want to download.  If you are only looking for product images, you can choose from various collections to best suit your needs.
Is there a section for rebate products on your website?
Yes, there is a section on our website dedicated specifically to rebates: .  All current manufacturer rebates are located there with a brief description of the rebate, the end date and the rebate coupon link.  You can find this under the Catalog tab of our website by clicking the Rebates option or by following this link here.
Is there a section for specials on your website?
Yes, there is a section on our website dedicated specifically to specials.  All current CWR specials are located there with the end date of the sale.  You can find this under the Catalog tab of our website by clicking the Specials option or by following this link here.
What are remanufactured units?  Is there a place I can find them on your website?
Remanufactured units are devices that were returned to the factory to be factory refurbished.  Remanufactured devices go through extensive testing to bring the units up to the same specifications as when they were manufactured as new, maintaining high quality standards.   Yes, there is a section on our website dedicated specifically to remanufactured products.  All current CWR remanufactured products are located there.  You can find this under the Catalog tab of our website by clicking the Remanufactured option or by following this link here.
Is there a section dedicated to clearance products on your website?
Yes, there is a section on our website dedicated specifically to closeouts.  All current CWR closeouts are located there noting that they are on sale while supplies last.  This means that this is the last time you will be able to purchase these products because once the product is sold out the product will be discontinued.  You can find this under the Catalog tab of our website by clicking the Clearance option or by following this link here.

Shipping

Are there any drop ship fees?
No, there are no additional fees to ship to another address.
If we drop ship an order, what does the shipping label look like?
The company name and return address will be your address. CWR Wholesale Distribution will be totally blind on this shipment.
Do packing slips show pricing on them?
The packing slips in any box from CWR will not have any pricing. This is for drop shipments to end customers and shipments direct to the dealer.
Is the flat rate shipping option per item, per box, per order or per shipment?
The flat rate charges of $9.95 (BWAY), $11.95 (GPROMO), $19.95 (2PROMO) or $49.95 (OPROMO) are per shipment. If you select an order to ship complete, you will be charged one time. If you select ship partial, then you will be charged once for ground and the order is split from both warehouses. If a complete shipment has multiple boxes, you are still charged one shipping fee.
When shipping an order, can I request a signature?
Yes, UPS and Fedex will require a signature for a charge of $6.35.
Is there a fee for USPS international?
No, there is no fee.
Are there any minimum order requirements with CWR?
No, we will ship any value order the same day if placed by 4pm EST as long as everything requested is currently in stock.
What is the cutoff time to have an order ship the same day?
All orders placed by 4pm EST will ship the same day as long as everything requested is currently in stock.
What is your return policy?
CWR offers a return period of 30 days from date of receipt. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) numbers are required for all returns. Returned products must be complete in the original packaging and resalable. Non-stock items may not be returned. Opened and/or unsealed DVDs, CDs, and cartography are not returnable unless defective. Units requiring service, either warranty or otherwise, should be returned directly to the appropriate manufacturer. For most items, customers can obtain an RMA number and process their return using the CWR website. Customers may also obtain an RMA number by sending an email to RMA@cwrdistribution.com or by calling 732-237-9300 (Option 1 for Customer Service). Be sure to provide the original invoice number, product being returned, and the reason for return. Returned merchandise may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%; please contact the RMA department for details.
